The 1,626 acre lake is approximately 3 miles in length and 1 mile wide. The lake has a maximum depth of 52 feet, an average depth of 17 feet and over 11 miles of shoreline.

Great fishing, recreation and swimming combine to make Lake Shamineau the perfect place to vacation.  Relaxing on our beautiful beach area and swimming in the refreshing and clear spring-fed waters provides the ultimate getaway to unwind with friends and family!

Fishing

Lake Shamineau is abundant with walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, crappie and other types of panfish.

Our lodge sells bait (minnows, leeches, night crawlers and worms) along with tackle items. We have two pontoons and one boat and motor for rent for getting out on the lake to fish.

For kids who want to fish right off the dock, there are plenty of panfish and bass just a cast away!
